Ibiza Tips – Places to Visit

Sa Talaia, San Josep

Sa Talaia, or Sa Talaiassa, is the highest point of the island with panoramic views of the surrounding area.

It is located in the southwest of the island. Talaia, the name of the mountain, means “watchtower” in Catalan, Talaiassa referring to an especially large one.

The local church, Sant Josep de sa Talaia, is also a popular tourist destination and dates back to the early 17th century.
